Energy Surcharge Update (5/5/2008)

EffectiveMay 19, 2008, ABC Metals, Inc. will increase our surcharges related to energyby an additional combined total of $0.02 per pound as the result of continuingupward pressure on natural gas and diesel fuel, two key elements in our supplychain.

Duringthese difficult times we have fought hard to stave off any surcharges. This actionrepresents the first change since we decreased our surcharge in March 2006.

Pleasebe assured that we very much appreciate your business and will continue to aggressivelylook for ways to mitigate cost increases in the future as we continue to earnyour loyalty. As always, I welcome yourquestions and comments.
